What I think is worth spending money on is our basic needs to survive. Every home owner obviously has to pay bills like the water bill, and water is what is most needed in everyone’s life because you will die if you don’t have enough water. Food is another great thing worth spending your money on because if you’re raising a family or just living alone, you still spend a lot of money each month on food. Food is the best thing to spend your money on in my opinion.
We are all in a tight spot for money in this time of life, so you must be wise with what you are spending your money on, or you’ll be in trouble. Wasting money can be real easy if you are tempted to buy wants for luxury and entertainment, but it all depends if it is a waste of money whether you are in a state of more wealth and can buy “wants” and still have enough dough to pay off what is needed.
Sometimes people who are not in a very good state of wealth, they go and buy alcohol or drugs because they are addicting and think they are spending money wisely, but in all honesty, it’s a waste of time and money when you could have had a better future. Its sad, but in America, money really is god because everyone needs money, and some people spend money on stupid stuff, and money is not just given to you, you have work hard, especially to support a family. Money spending can be challenging for people who spend too much money on stuff they don’t need. So what is worth spending money on? Basic living needs are what money is worth spending on, to survive.

Worth it, or not?
What do you think is a waste of money?
I personally think buying things for yourself is the best thing you can buy. And if you buy something for someone’s party, birthday, or even just to show your affection toward them. If Mother’s Day is coming up then you’re going to want to buy her a present, your grandma, and maybe your old lady. Same thing applies for your father and grandfather on Father’ Day.
A waste of money would be sending money to a non-profit organization, or an organization that helps kids in Africa.
You’re going to get nothing out of the whole situation, maybe you get a picture of the child that you are helping and their information, but they aren’t coming to your house and mowing your lawn, or washing your clothes so there’s no actual point to do that besides for being nice.
Another waste of money would be buying a bunch of food, and end up staring at it till it expires and then you throw it away and go buy the same thing and do it all over again!
Or if someone keeps asking you to borrow some money to them but they never end up paying you back and keep asking you to give them money and your too nice to say no. Not me though, if someone doesn’t pay me I make them pay in their clothes, entertainment, or anything I think is valuable.
Something else to spend your money on is a Lamborghini, or a big mansion and a beach house that you don’t use unless there’s a HUGE party that needs to be thrown. And maybe even a house boat next to your beach house so you live on land and the water. Some water ski’s and a jet boat.

I think that parents raise their kids on how they want to and they expect them to be that way. But I think that kids have their own minds and they can change how they act. Dear mama and papa,
Hey its your son I hope that you haven’t totally forgot about me.
Well I kinda figured t would tell you about my knew life in the us. Well I am living in New York and I work is a “factory” but its more like a prison but it makes it possible for me to scrape along. Am I getting enough money to you? Because I really can send more if you need it. You guys wouldn’t belief how many people are here everywhere you go there are more people than you have ever seen. You have the Italian part of town, you have the Irish, you have the Germans, the Russians, and Chinese. There is never a dull moment in this new land and everything that people learn at home just kinda gets forgotten because everything is done differently. The men go on dates which are taking a woman out to dinner and movies. The woman can chose who they marry. Work is very hard and we receive harsh punishments for very small infractions. But I don’t mind I have gotten fairly good at blocking out all the yelling and screaming. We have outdoor markets with people pushing carts around and if you’re not careful they will run into you. How are you guys doing I hope that you are doing better now that I’m gone.

How are things going down there with the family? How is everyone? Everyone missing me because I know I miss them a whole lot! Things down here in the states our pretty boring and really unsafe, for example they don’t have fire escapes in downtown because of the rich people.
They think the escapes are ugly so just because they are ugly they don’t want them I mean, where does safety come in? Oh well, I’m just waiting till the day there is a fire and a whole lot of rich people get caught up and then we’ll see where the fire escapes are at other than that things down here are kind a rough it’s hard too get a job and if you do get one it won’t pay that much so it’s a baffle but I’m doing my best with what I have now so I can send the family money.
Everyone down here is treating me well, there is a lot and I mean a lot of people down here. Whenever I go too the park I see all these families together having a good time laughing, eating, just really having fun and those moments I miss the most like just being with the family with no worries or problems.

Hello mother, father. How are you? I’m doing alright; the city is taking a big toll on my life. People everywhere, lights going on and off at specific times, horses pulling people in boxes, the men direct the horse to wherever the people in the boxes want. They pay them once they reach their destination. It seems like a good way to make money, because people need to go somewhere all the time.
My life is crazy, my schedule is to work 6 days out of 7, working from the morning to late at night. I get so tired sometimes I get lost in the city on the way home. The women are exquisite. I might just find my wife here. I don’t understand most of the things people here say, so I mainly keep to myself. My boss is a real mean man, he doesn’t care whether I work for him or not, but I have to put up with him because I cant take the chance of losing my job, and not being able to provide your myself and still send money to you.
I’m proud of myself making money in a big city and staying strong in it. I’m appreciative towards the many opportunities that it is given to me. I knew coming to America would give me a chance at a good and better life. I want you to come out here and visit; I will try and get the money to have you come out here, so you can experience the life of New York City. I have been struggling a lot ever since I came here to America. I am really trying to get money to send back so you can come and start a new life in the free world. I am staying in this city called New York and it is really difficult to find a job that’s good but any job will do for now. As of right now, I am not happy I came but I have to work hard. I have been looking for a job for the past little while, but it is not as easy as it seems to get any job, even a simple, little one. I am lucky that I just got the chance to work for some Americans, yard work, house chores, and anything else they would let me do for them.
What I like here in America is that they don’t tell you that you have to be a certain religion and they have the chance to work and make a living here. I really dislike that it’s strenuous to get a job that pays well, let alone any job. The streets are too crowded and cramped here in the York. I really miss you guys back home in Germania. I now got a job in the sewing factory. They have now let me work the sewing machines. I’m getting paid about $4.25. I don’t really like the work. They work us to hard and I have seen them cheat some people out of their pay. Working there is very tiring. I have moved into a small apartment. There are a lot of people living here with me. They have 10 kids! An in the day time we have others that come and sleep. They have treated me well. Since I have moved here I have see so many new things. There are more people on one street then our whole town! It’s so easy to get lost just walking down the street. There are so many news things here. They have buildings that are more than one story high. Some buildings have these things called fire escape so if you live in a top story and there’s a fire then they can get out. I really like how New York is so exciting. When just walking down the street there’s is so much excitement. What I really don’t like is that they treat girls different. Man thinks that they are so much better then us. They don’t listen to us when we speak. They think that were not smart enough to do things like go to school. Scared of the dark
Why do people get scared at night? I think people get scared at night because it’s something to do with the way they think. Your brain makes things up and then you get scared and start to trip yourself out. When your walk around alone at night you get scared because you start hearing every little noise and everything that moves makes you jump. It’s because people let them self’s think this way. They let these things trip them out. They let them self’s think about something bad happening.
For example I was so scared to go out in the night by myself. It was mainly because my mom always would tell me things that bad things would happen to people after dark. I was so scared to even go in my back yard at night because I would let my mind think about everything that was bad would happen. Who can you depend on in life?
I would like too say “In this world you can’t trust anyone”. In the world we live in now you cannot trust anyone, honestly because in the civilization in which we live in even your best friend would say something that he isn’t suppose too because he forgot or peer pressure. This might be hard too believe but even family members sometimes can’t be trusted or dependable on.
I learned all of this in my real life by being incarcerated by my own mother and grandfather and last year I did 3-4 months for my aunt trying too look out for me but the way she looked out was by telling my judge I’m not doing good and won’t amount to anything with the way things are going. It’s amazing how the people who think would never turn their backs on you actually do or say they will be they forever right by your side but aren’t.
I’m speaking from experience the feeling you get is worse than disappointment it’s an unbelievable sequence because a million things go through your mind and you don’t know where to turn or what to do next. In my life I stood right back up an came to learn to not trust anyone or expect anything because at the end of the day you only have yourself but for me in my life I live in I only have one, one person I can trust and have always trusted ever since I was a little kid no matter what I could always go to her and she will always be there for me and that is my ma (grandma) she’s the only women I can trust and I thank her being here. Well that’s my life story and my story about dependability, It’s up to you if you want to trust someone or not..
I learned all of this in my real life by being incarcerated by my own mother and grandfather and last year I did 3-4 months for my aunt trying too look out for me but the way she looked out was by telling my judge I’m not doing good and won’t amount to anything with the way things are going. It’s amazing how the people who think would never turn their backs on you actually do or say they will be they forever right by your side but aren’t.
I’m speaking from experience the feeling you get is worse than disappointment it’s an unbelievable sequence because a million things go through your mind and you don’t know where to turn or what to do next. The Lonely One
If the lonely one is not real then what is it a metaphor for?
I thing that the lonely one is just some thing that someone made up so they could blame their problems on. For example when people die in the book its always the lonely one who killed them or took their life. It also makes it possible for them not to face the reality of a situation.
How has the lonely one affected the characters?
I think that the lonely one has affected the characters by making them believe in a boogieman in a sense. The people believe if they start to get cold at night that the lonely one is out trying to get someone. And it just scares them to the point of not going out of their houses and locking them up as tite as they can.

What does it mean to be alive?
What does being alive mean to you? To me it is being able to feel. Letting yourself realize your feelings and letting yourself feel them. Being alive is acting like tomorrow is your last day and remembering everything you do is part of your life even if it’s good or bad. Everything you do or happens to you happens for a reason and it becomes part of your life.
The last time I felt alive. Was when my Aunt was really sick with caner. And when I went to see her in the hospital I felt dead I felt but I didn’t want to. So I blocked it out and acted like I didn’t care. And even after I left I still felt dead. Then after a couple of weeks she went to a doctor again my mom and I went to see what they were going to say. And as we were waiting for the doctor my aunt sat there looking so scared a little. And that’s when I realized how much being alive is important. But when the doctor come in he told us her caner was retreating it was the most wonderful thing. It made me realize that I never took my life seriously until I realized that you could die any day.

Confronting with Yourself
Everybody has fears in the world and maybe even in the unknown galaxy. In this world people have fears from being in lone space or being up somewhere high or even too be in the dark ever. Since we we’re little kids we most likely grew up on them like the boogeyman or in my culture La Llorrona, we were told if we didn’t go too sleep they would come for us and take us, I know I was told those stories but after awhile I realized its just imagination.
Imagination and reality are two whole different things and I learned that growing up. As I grew up I developed my fear which is . of the darkness because every since I was little I would have nightmares and I would see things at nights moving and/or reaching out for me. Being afraid of the dark is probably a little kids fear but in reality anyone any age can have it because everyone’s mental stage is different an had different experiences in their life.
I learned that without confronting your fear you’ll never be able too live life too it’s potential because of your fear. Overcoming it might be difficult, Once you overcome it I promise you, you’ll look at like better an be ready for any new challenges because you have confronted yourself an in my eye’s that is very difficult because the more you think of it, the more you struggle with it in your life. Have you every thought of something so much that you’re not able too sleep or go on with your day? Well replace Scared with thinking and if you’re the position where you realize that you are scared with that emotion or thought, however you want too look at it, whether it’s a question or something in your past you have too confront it or it will haunt you for your life. You will learn when confronted with yourself it will be hard but it’s okay because life is full of challenges but when you overcome those challenges you will feel good about yourself an know you can do anything you set your mind too!

Summer is Season
How much of summer do you like? What’s your favorite season? My favorite season is summer. You can probably guess why! I love summer because the weather is nice, there is more to do, and there is no school!! I wish it was longer than the bleak original 3 months of summer we have. I still appreciate it greatly that we actually have a summer break. I think everyone’s favorite season is summer because most students don’t like school and they have a break. I like it because no school and the weather is awesome!
My list of seasons on how I would rate them goes: summer, spring, autumn, and then the dreadful winter. I hate winter because its colt and the loss of some daylight hours. Most students would most likely put the seasons in that order as well as I did.

Confronting Fear
I was asked what is one fear that you have or something along that line. Well one fear that I have had since, “I was knee high to a grasshopper,” is being in deep dark open water. I think the main thing that scares me is that I can’t touch the ground. Another thing is just disappearing and no one knows what happened to you. It’s like what if you had a fight with someone that you care about or even love do they know that you care about them or love them? I think it’s hard for anyone to think that what if at this moment you are living up to your full potential. I mean if you were to die right now are you happy with the way people think about you?
