Can people become different then how their parents raised them?

I think that parents raise their kids on how they want to and they expect them to be that way. But I think that kids have their own minds and they can change how they act. Some kids do everything thing their parents tell them to and when they have kids they raise their kids like their parents raised them. Then there are some kids that aren’t like their parents and they do the opposite of how their parents raised them. Kids have their own mind and the older they get the more independent they come.

Parents never raise their kids to do drugs but their kids still do them. Parents do raise their kids to disrespectful their kids just to start to be that way. Kids have their own minds and they older they get the more things they learn. Some parents raise their kids to always do their best, never do drugs, and to be respectful. Then sometimes their kids either start hanging out with kids who have parents who don’t care and let their kids do whatever and the kid picks up on others behaviors. It sometimes doesn’t matter how the parents raise their kids they can always change.

My parents have always been over protective. They were raised to be respectful. My mom over worries all the time, she never did drugs and never really told about real live. An as I grow up I learned new things and met new people. I started to acted way different then my parents raised me. I started to do things they would never have done. My point is that my parents raised the way they wanted me to be but I didn’t turn out how they wanted. I learned things and started to act how I wanted. Kids can be so much different then how their parents raised them. Kids can be how they want to be.
