Immigration Letter

Dear,
Family back home,

I have been struggling a lot ever since I came here to America. I am really trying to get money to send back so you can come and start a new life in the free world. I am staying in this city called New York and it is really difficult to find a job that’s good but any job will do for now. As of right now, I am not happy I came but I have to work hard. I have been looking for a job for the past little while, but it is not as easy as it seems to get any job, even a simple, little one. I am lucky that I just got the chance to work for some Americans, yard work, house chores, and anything else they would let me do for them.

What I like here in America is that they don’t tell you that you have to be a certain religion and they have the chance to work and make a living here. I really dislike that it’s strenuous to get a job that pays well, let alone any job. The streets are too crowded and cramped here in the York. I really miss you guys back home in Germania. How has your life been since I left for the big peach? I hope everyone is doing okay and everyone is staying healthy and safe. Remember that I pray for you guys everyday, sometimes twice a day. I am really trying my hardest to send money back but my first pay wasn’t as adequate as I had thought it should be. I am really sorry that life has to be this frustrating and difficult. I am trying my hardest and I want you to know that I love you all and even if I fail, I will still know that I tried my hardest. I wish the best for you all.

Love, Cory

Nice. It was well thought out, and had a lot of truth in it. It makes you think of how lucky we are to live in a "free" country. Because compared to most places out of the U.S. we have it really good.
