When Mr. Antoloni says, “The mark of an immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause…” I think he means that the man is immature because dyeing for a cause is good and all but what are actually doing for that cause if you are dead? That’s right nothing! When a man is dead, that man is of no use to the cause any more. You might have done a lot of good things, but you are not doing them anymore. The man may have even had a great success for the cause, and that is great, but his success ended when he died. He is even more immature because he wants to die for that cause. It means that the man is selfish. He is only thinking of how he can be glorified and praised. If the man cannot realize that he is no good dead, then in my opinion he is very immature. In my mind he only wants to be remembered.
Mr. Antoloni also says “…while the mark of a mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.” I think what he is saying is that the man that is the most mature and wants to live for his cause. He knows that while he lives he can be assured that the cause is the most important thing, and that it is accomplished. The man is humble because he knows that the cause is much greater than him. He realizes that he is just a pawn to the cause, and he is accepting of that. He is humbled by the fact that he is a part of such a huge cause. All in all, I think he is saying that you should try to live for a good cause and be humbled by that cause. You are no good when you are dead, so live and do all you can for it.

First of all good job writing this paper on such short notice. I think that you get the meaning of the quote, and understand the deeper interpretation of it. You did a good job explaining to the reader your opinion on what this quote means, explaining the two opposing ways of life. One thing that could possibly benefit your paper is replace the word "cause" with synonyms, so that it doesn't get old reading it so many times, good paper though.
You did pretty good on your blog but I would watch for gramer and word choice and I noticed that you missed a few words every here and there but other than that good job. If i wanted to find a good cause i dont know what that cause would be, I guess I got something to think about.
I love your last sentence where you wrote that you are worth nothing dead so live life basically. It was vey deep in just some small words. Great job can't wait to see more of your blogs.

I really like how you though this out. i like how your explaining about death. How a man is of no use when he is dead. I also like how you re-quoted the paper Mr. Antoloni gave Holden.
It's so true that if you die for a cause your no good to that cause any more. I think that is what the quote really meant and if Holden really understood it he would get something good out of it. Good Job!
Lastly it makes me giggle a little where Gustavo said be careful with your grammar when he spelled it wrong.
